Experienced professional with more than 40 years’ management experience within the offshore oil and gas industry covering both general and project management, he has held senior roles within the decommissioning sector for the past 20 years.

Worked in Norway for 13 years during which time involved in a number of major offshore construction projects including the Ekofisk Jack up Project. Significant practical offshore experience with direct involvement in most of the main decommissioning projects to date in North Sea (Frigg, Ekofisk, Brent Spar, NW Hutton, Brent Field) Construction Manager for 2 years at the RGC fabrication facility (Fife).

Recruited to assist and advise BG on strategy, organisation and all aspects of decommissioning related to Armada Hub and Atlantic & Cromarty Fields. Responsible for the Armada facility through the ‘Assess and Select stages’.
